Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 250g mushrooms
- 50g butter
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 1/2 cup marsala
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper
- 2 tbs chopped parsley
- Steak to serve
Method
- Finely chop garlic
- Slice mushrooms
- Melt butter in pan
- Add garlic and mushrooms
- cook for 3-4 mins
- Add stock and boil for 3 mins
- Add marsala and simmer until reduced by half
- Add salt, pepper and parsley
- If not thickened, add 1/2 tsp cornflour mixed with water
- Serve on steak
